Course Description:
Circuit breakers are very important machines that ensure the protection of electricity transport networks. However, this training course will discuss the application, timing, motion analysis, maintenance and, testing issues related to low, medium and high-voltage electrical circuit breaker equipment.
The course will provide delegates with a solid understanding of Circuit Breaker standards and issues concerning the proper application and maintenance of circuit breaker equipment with a strong emphasis on safety. This training will cover a wide range of material starting from the basics practicals and moving on to more complex issues.
This course also provides an overview of power system design, focusing on the power distribution electrical circuit breakers used in common utility, industrial, commercial and institutional applications.
Elementary and advanced circuit breaker timing, motion analysis, recloser, electrical safety and, maintenance techniques are the major components of this course.
