Applications

TMU High Flow Coriolis Mass Flow Meter are used where high flow values in piping systems  up to 400 mm
/ 32 inch and up to 2,200 t/h have to be measured safely and accurate. The instruments offers a very long term stable zero point, are extremely robust and thus are suitable in particular for applications which can be found in oil and gas loading stations, for measurments in pipline systems on-shore and off-shore. A very special body construction allows the opening of the meter for service works – thus the instruments don´t have to be extracted for most of the inspections needed.

Application:

1. With the micro-bend structure, the pressure loss is relatively low compared with
the common type;
2. And the performance of the micro-bend type mass flowmeter is not easily
affected by mechanical vibration, because its high driving frequency is beyond the
frequency of pump etc..
3. For a certain DN, normally the flange distance of the micro-bend type mass
flowmeter is longer than the one of the common type. And the total height of the
micro-bend type mass flowmeter is lower than the one of the common type.
4. Compare with the micro-bend type mass flowmeter, the common type has higher
accuracy, larger signal output, and wider flowrange.
Generally speaking, the micro-bend type mass flowmeter is more suitable for the
process measurement etc. with not very high accuracy demand, while the common
type is usually applied in the measurement with high accuracy requirement.

The Badger Meter RCT1000 Coriolis mass flow meter simultaneously measures true mass flow and density reading. For fluids consisting of two liquids or a liquid with suspended solids, it can derive the concentration and mass of each fluid based on the density measurement.
