Onsite dynamic balancing
Assetmatrix offers site balancing services for a wide range of applications. In-situ balancing is the process of balancing of rotors at site in assembled condition under the rotors own power running at the rated services speed using electronic equipment. The imbalance measured can then be corrected by adding or subtracting weight from the rotating parts until the imbalance is corrected and vibration is reduced.
In-situ balancing can be done for a wide variety of applications in a wide range of industries such as:
- Fans, Blowers, Impeller assemblies and other air and material handling equipment
- CNC and high speed machine tool spindles
- Cardan shaft assemble and power transmission assemblies of machines
- Rotating components of test rigs
- Power generation facilities such as Hydro-electric turbine generator assemblies
In-situ balancing of your machinery:
- Reduces the vibration levels of the running parts thereby Improving the service life
- Reduces the possibility of catastrophic failures, costly downtime, labour and material cost
- Improves product quality, increases productivity & save time and money
Extends the life of bearing and machinery & costly industrial repairs from machinery breakdown and ensures optimum performance of machinery
Ensures the health and safety of persons working with machinery
Can be planned into scheduled short time outages e.g process change
Eliminates the requirements to completely dismantle and reassemble plant equipment to enable balancing of machine components
Enables running machines at higher speeds for improved productivity
Improvement in NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshnes
